Mary Louise (Mollie) Sand passed away peacefully a day before her 99th birthday. She was born in Agassiz, British Columbia, and remained a resident there throughout her life. Her grandparents settled on a farm in Agassiz in 1911, and her parents Frank and Edith Appel took over the farm in 1924. Mollie was involved across the community and in her family's activities for many years.
