Bernard Lloyd Stadnyk, 76, of Yorkton, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully on Dec. 18, 2025, at the Yorkton Regional Health Center surrounded by family. He was born Aug. 23, 1949, in Foam Lake and was raised on the family farm southwest of Sheho, later living in Sheho, Parkerview and Yorkton. Bernie worked in construction and for Service Master before a 33-year career with SGI in Yorkton, retiring in 2007, and he enjoyed slo-pitch, hunting and fishing. In later years he required long-term care for advancing dementia; his wife Diane returned to Yorkton to be near him until her death in 2023, and the family expressed thanks to care staff.
