Oceanside Special Olympics to hold donut sale in Parksville.

From Jan. 30 to Feb. 1, Oceanside Special Olympics volunteers will sell special donuts at the Parksville Tim Hortons to raise funds for local sports programs; athletes will be on site 10 a.m.–2 p.m. each day.

Oceanside Special Olympics will run a Tim Hortons donut sale in Parksville from Jan. 30 to Feb. 1 to raise funds for local sports and activities. Athletes, coaches and parents will staff the event at the Parksville Tim Hortons and will be available each day between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Last year the group raised $4,987.80, sold 2,022 donuts and finished second in Canada for funds raised. The fundraiser supports more than 15 local sports programs for people with physical and intellectual challenges.
