Starting next week, residents of Mississauga, Brampton and Caledon can place an unlimited amount of household trash at the curb for collection on their regular garbage day. Extra garbage will be collected only on the scheduled garbage day, not on recycling collection days. For most items, garbage tags are not required during the exemption period. A few items are excluded from curbside pickup and may need to be taken to a Peel Community Recycling Centre.
