The Char-Lan Recreation Centre has qualified for a $924,360 grant through the Ontario Community Sport and Recreation Infrastructure Fund (CSRIF) to support exterior and roof work. Tenders were received and Gallivan Group of Companies was awarded the project at a cost of $1,999,000. EVB Engineering is providing administration services for the rehabilitation. Planned work covers the rink roof and insulation, wall cladding and related replacements across the facility.
