She was the eldest daughter of William and Hazel Sissons and is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, and sister. Betty taught for more than 27 years in the Orillia and Niagara areas and was the first in her family to graduate from university. In retirement she pursued many interests, enjoyed travel, and cherished time with family.
