Submissions so far include stories of reunited couples, life‑changing classes, and long friendships. Principal Anthony Bravo OBE described the responses as heartwarming and said the college will hold two alumni events this March. The institution traces its roots to the late 1940s and has expanded its courses and facilities over the decades. Key details: - The college reports that more than 250,000 students have attended since it began as Basingstoke Technical Institute in the late 1940s. - Two alumni events are scheduled at the Worting Road campus: for those who attended between 1947 and 1997 on Tuesday, March 3, and for those who attended from 1997 onwards on Tuesday, March 10; both run 6pm–8pm. - The anniversary campaign aims to build an alumni community to support current students through work experience, apprenticeships, mentoring and guest speaking opportunities. - Student numbers have risen by 24% over the past three years, and the college has introduced new qualifications including the T‑Level and will soon offer the V‑level. - Recent campus additions include a University Centre, a media production studio, and the Thames Water Engineering Room.
