Forty golfers met at the Isle of Skye Golf Club for a Boxing Day tournament that raised funds for local RNLI stations. Councillor John Finlayson organised the event with sponsorship from a number of companies linked to the area. Players enjoyed good weather and later took part in an auction and a raffle of donated prizes. The cheque was handed over at Kyle lifeboat station to representatives from both Portree and Kyle.
