Community shop in Derby begins new chapter under local family

The business was put up for sale last year and was taken on by local mum-of-two Chelsie Figgis and her husband, Will. Chelsie said a chance conversation with her father prompted her enquiry, and she felt taking over was something her late mother would have wanted. The shop serves families with toys, baby and adult clothing and gifts, and uses a model that shares proceeds with donors.
