Dippy the dinosaur will remain on display at the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum in Coventry for an additional year. The Natural History Museum and the Herbert agreed the extension after the exhibit drew more than half-a-million visitors since it arrived three years ago. The replica diplodocus is 26 metres long and 4.17 metres high and was first shown in London in 1905. The display has been accompanied by family events and related exhibits at the Herbert.
