Diesel Streets: A Peterborough Wall Story opened to the public at Peterborough Museum on Saturday, February 7. The exhibition looks back at the formation of Peterborough's street art scene and acknowledges key contributors to that history. It brings archival photographs and memories into a gallery setting alongside new pieces by Nathan Murdoch. The project was funded by Arts Council England and Peterborough Positive.
Exhibition highlights:
- Archival photos show early street art in locations such as Stamford Meadow, Skaters Way, Welland Mobile, The Safeway Jam, The Rifle Range Subway, The Perkins Club and Thistle Drive Community Centre.
