Isle of Wight petanque presentation night raises £778 for Mountbatten Hospice

More than 50 players and family attended the Isle of Wight petanque presentation night on 7 February, and the event raised £778 for Mountbatten Hospice through a raffle and donations.

The Isle of Wight petanque community held its annual presentation night on Saturday 7 February at the Isle of Wight Community Club. More than 50 players and family members attended to mark the year’s competitions and awards. The evening was jointly hosted by Petanque England Isle of Wight and the Isle of Wight Petanque League. Organisers presented perennial trophies and several winning teams chose to donate funds instead of accepting individual trophies.
