Thirty-two community projects across Scotland have been awarded a share of £300,000 to help build strong and connected communities. The Scottish Government partnered with the STV Children's Appeal to identify grassroots organisations and charities for the funding. The awards are intended to support projects that work to break cycles of poverty and strengthen social cohesion and inclusion. Minister for Equalities Kaukab Stewart announced the awards during a visit to Dundee community centre Boomerang.
