Ryde Fire Station will open its doors for a community open day on Saturday 4 April. Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service is hosting the event and plans a programme of live demonstrations. The event is intended to show the variety of emergency response work carried out across the Isle of Wight. The station will be open between 10:00 and 16:00.
