The Scottish Game Developers Association is restarting its Games Talks Live series with a three-city tour from 24 to 26 March 2026. The tour will visit Edinburgh, Dundee and Glasgow. The events have been held since 2019 and bring together developers, publishers and investors. Each evening pairs short talks with dedicated time for attendees to connect.
Event details:
- Dates and venues: Tuesday 24 March in Edinburgh (Voodoo Rooms), Wednesday 25 March in Dundee (Beat Generator), and Thursday 26 March in Glasgow (Sloans Ballroom).
- Schedule: doors open at 16:00 for networking and the first round of talks begins at 17:00; sessions include regular breaks.
- Speakers: confirmed presenters include Nicoll Hunt (software engineer at Duolingo and former indie developer), Ronan Suess (technical artist and RogueLink co-founder), and João Diogo Ramos (founder of the Load ZX Museum).
- SGDA Games Accelerator: the cohort will pitch game prototypes and business plans after a five-month business development programme funded by the Scottish Government's Ecosystem Fund.
- Glasgow livestream: the Glasgow event on 26 March will be livestreamed with a dedicated online co-host managing the digital community and Discord discussions.
- Ticketing and charity status: SGDA is a registered charity; staff of SGDA member studios are entitled to free tickets while general admission and livestream tickets are available via the SGDA website.
