Birdfish Brewing Co. in Columbiana is holding its third annual Pawz & Pours to benefit All About The Pawz Dog Rescue, featuring live music, food trucks and adoptable pets; last year the event raised $16,000.
Every Cat's Dream to host Fundraising Bingo on March 8
Every Cat's Dream will hold a fundraising bingo on March 8 at Kelly's Sports Bar in Endicott, with proceeds supporting the nonprofit cat rescue. The event runs from 1–4 PM and will include raffle baskets, a 50/50 raffle, and ten bingo games.
Donation of just over $48,000 supports local animal shelter
The Garfield Heights Eagles Club presented a check for just over $48,000 to the Friends of the Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter to support animal care, community programs and operating costs.

Southampton plans to open the restored Tiana Life‑Saving Station as a self‑guided museum at the start of the 2026 summer season. The building, bought by the town in 2014, was an early Coast Guard station staffed by Black servicemen and has World War II connections.
