Two high-speed passenger trains derailed near the town of Adamuz in the province of Cordoba on Sunday evening. Spain's Civil Guard reported at least 10 people dead and more than 25 seriously injured. Officials said rear cars of an Iryo service from Malaga to Madrid fell from the tracks and struck an oncoming Renfe train bound for Huelva, causing both trains to derail. Emergency services were mobilized and rail services between Madrid and Andalusia were suspended.
