Volvo Trucks North America will supply three Volvo VNR Electric trucks to City Harvest in 2026 as part of the Bronx is Breathing initiative. The trucks will be fitted with battery-electric transport refrigeration units so they can operate without local tailpipe emissions during collections and deliveries. Charging will initially take place at a new installation at the Fulton Fish Market Cooperative in the Hunts Point Food Distribution Center.
