The City of Santa Clarita and Castaic Animal Care Center will host the PAWS for Love adoption event at the Santa Clarita Public Library Canyon Country Jo Anne Darcy Branch on Saturday, Feb. 7, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. In honor of Valentine’s Day, adoption fees will be waived for pets adopted on site and adopters will pay only licensing fees of $14 for dogs and $5 for cats. This year cats will be available at the event for the first time. Library resources and children's coloring pages will be available during the event.
