Martha Detty-Foster was honored by the Oak Hill Area Chamber of Commerce at its Feb. 9 monthly meeting as she nears her 100th birthday. She will turn 100 on Feb. 20. Over many decades she has been active in business and local government and has remained involved in community groups in Oak Hill. She has lived in the same house in Oak Hill for about 75 years.
