Robert Dedman Sr., Robert Dedman Jr. and Jack Nance were selected for the Carolinas Golf Hall of Fame and were formally inducted Feb. 14 during Carolinas Golf Night at Pinehurst Resort. Nance is a former Wake Forest player who spent more than four decades with the Carolinas Golf Association and helped expand membership, services and championships. Dedman Sr. was honored posthumously after acquiring Pinehurst in 1984 and leading restorations and facility additions. Dedman Jr. continued his father's work, guiding Pinehurst to host multiple major championships and securing an anchor-site designation for Pinehurst No. 2.
