Ohio State has the largest number of Fulbright U.S. Scholars for the second consecutive year, and 12 scholars and 11 students from the university were selected. The U.S. Department of State designated Ohio State as one of seven universities nationwide to earn Top Producing status for both the student and scholar Fulbright programs. The Fulbright Program is the U.S. Department of State’s flagship international academic exchange initiative and operates in more than 160 countries. Ohio State officials said placements often reflect long-standing academic relationships and support the university’s global engagement.
