East Midlands Railway has completed a £250,000 revamp at Beeston train station that included resurfacing and remodelling of the forecourt, a new cycle shelter, added seating and improved lighting. The works also repaired and redecorated the Grade II-listed façade, created a volunteer area and a garden with planters and bird boxes, and were supported by the Railway Heritage Trust and Friends of Beeston Station.
